Farewell 2020

Where to start, firstly

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas

I have been in Tasmania for a week now after a safe exit from Victoria

I hit the ground running on day one helping out a Lions Club with these two lovely ladies

Taking my time, 24 hours I headed to Geeveston down below Hobart to take up a volunteering position as Park Custodian for the CMCA. More of that later, first I had a whistle stop tour of Campbell Town

Campbell Town stop, will be back

New life for old trees

Geeveston

Just opened and slowly getting it sorted. I’m really enjoying that I don’t have to move for a while while planning what I will do once this gig is over.
Great paths for walking or riding, lots of friendly locals that stop for a chat
Just because I can’t resist the texture and fungi
This is the creek that runs alongside the campgrounds
A visit from Cocopop
Experimenting with rust. Yes I have a plan. Sort of

Christmas is sorted, fresh seafoods

Great Ocean Rd Victoria

I nearly did not take this rather long detour, but so glad I did.

There are hardly any tourists, no problems getting a park at any of the sightseeing spots and it’s got to be one of the best drives in Australia. Rainforests, Ocean, beaches and waterfalls. This drive has it all. As well as some of the best scenery you could hope for.

Stayed last night at Johanna campground in Otway NP, nice spot and only a short walk to the beach.
